Terms of Service

Full Belli operates a platform through which supporters purchase meals at participating restaurants (each purchase, a "Meal Purchase") and verified college students claim those meals at no cost to themselves. Full Belli is a for-profit company and is not a nonprofit or tax-exempt organization. Contributions to Full Belli are payments for meals, are not tax-deductible, and are not solicited as contributions to a cause.

Full Belli does not prepare, handle, or serve food. Meals are prepared and served by independent restaurants that set their own menus, prices, and hours. Full Belli is not the agent, employer, or partner of any restaurant, and no restaurant is the agent, employer, or partner of Full Belli.

You must be at least 18 years of age to make a Meal Purchase. A Meal Purchase creates a payment obligation, and Full Belli does not accept payment from minors.

You must be at least 13 years of age to receive meals. You must also be a student at a campus with which Full Belli has partnered and hold a valid school email address at that campus. If you are under 18, you should obtain the consent of a parent or guardian before registering.

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify Full Belli at hello@fullbelli.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorization.

A Meal Purchase buys meals at specific restaurants at the prices those restaurants list. Full Belli adds a platform fee of 15% to the listed meal price. The total displayed before payment is the total charged, and the restaurant receives the full listed price of every meal it serves.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Full Belli is the merchant of record for every Meal Purchase, and the charge appears on your statement under the name Full Belli rather than that of a restaurant.

A Meal Purchase is assigned to the restaurants you selected or, if you selected a city or allowed Full Belli to choose, to the restaurants the Service selected at the moment of payment. Your receipt identifies those restaurants. The amount paid is held for meals at those restaurants and moves only as described in Section 4.

All Meal Purchases are final. Full Belli does not offer refunds, and the Service provides no means of requesting one. Any refund Full Belli elects to issue is issued at its sole discretion and creates no right to a refund on any other occasion.

A meal you purchase remains available at its assigned restaurant for a student to claim. If no student has claimed a meal thirty days after it arrived at that restaurant, Full Belli moves the meal to one or more nearby restaurants at which students are actively claiming meals, and notifies you by email of where it went. A meal is never returned to you and does not expire.

If a payment is reversed by your bank or card issuer, or if Full Belli refunds it, Full Belli withdraws the unclaimed meals from that Meal Purchase. Meals already served to a student remain paid to the restaurant that served them, and Full Belli bears that cost itself. The cost is never recovered from another supporter, a student, or a restaurant.

The Service is not a gift card, a stored-value account, or a prepaid instrument. A Meal Purchase buys meals for students and does not create any credit, balance, or entitlement for you. Nothing purchased may be redeemed by you or converted into money.

You may elect to fund meals on a weekly or monthly schedule. If you do, your payment method is charged automatically on that schedule, at the amount displayed when you began, until you cancel. Each charge purchases meals in the same manner as a one-time Meal Purchase, at the platform fee and menu prices in effect on the date of the charge. If the platform fee changes, the new fee applies to your next charge.

You may cancel at any time from your account, which opens a billing portal operated by Stripe. Cancellation stops all future charges. It does not refund charges already made and does not withdraw meals already purchased.

Full Belli emails you a receipt for every charge.

To claim meals you must verify a school email address at your campus. Verification is valid for one year, after which Full Belli asks you to verify it again.

The following limits apply so that meals reach as many students as possible: you may claim no more than two meals in any week, you may hold only one active meal pass at a time, and each pass expires 60 minutes after you create it. When a pass expires the meal returns to the restaurant for another student to claim, and you may create another pass.

A restaurant may stop accepting passes, and Full Belli cancels a pass when its restaurant can no longer serve it. A pass cancelled on the restaurant’s side does not count toward your weekly limit, and Full Belli notifies you by email when it occurs.

A pass is personal to you and is not transferable. You may not sell, transfer, or assign a pass, or claim meals you do not intend to eat. Full Belli may suspend an account that does.

Any matter concerning food, service, allergens, or dietary requirements is between you and the restaurant. Inform the restaurant directly of any allergy. Full Belli does not verify ingredients and is not responsible for what is served.

You set your menu, your price, and your hours, and you decide whether to accept a pass. You are paid the full listed price of every meal you serve through the Service, transferred to the account you connect through Stripe, which pays out to your bank weekly. Full Belli permits one listing per address.

You are responsible for the food you serve, for your own licences and regulatory compliance, and for the conduct of your staff toward students. You agree to treat a student presenting a Full Belli pass no differently from any paying customer.

Full Belli bears the cost of payment disputes and reversals on Meal Purchases. No such cost is passed to you. Full Belli may pause or remove a listing at any time, and you may leave the Service at any time. In either case, meals already served remain payable to you and are transferred as usual for as long as your Stripe account can receive payouts.

You may hide your listing from students at any time. If passes are outstanding when you do so, you choose whether to serve them or cancel them. If Full Belli pauses your listing, or Stripe stops paying out to you, outstanding passes are cancelled and the affected students are notified. A cancelled pass costs no one a meal.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Full Belli does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, that meals will be available at any particular restaurant or time, or that any restaurant will remain on the platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Full Belli is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to the Service. Full Belli’s total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Full Belli in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If you have paid Full Belli nothing, that amount is zero.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or for personal injury caused by Full Belli’s negligence. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations, and to that extent those limitations may not apply to you.

Full Belli may modify these Terms. If a modification is material, Full Belli will post the modified Terms on this page and update the effective date above. A change to the platform fee applies to a recurring Meal Purchase from its next charge, at the fee displayed on this page at that time.

Your continued use of the Service after a modification takes effect constitutes your acceptance of it. If you do not accept a modification, you must stop using the Service and cancel any recurring Meal Purchase.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and Full Belli each consent to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts. These Terms do not require arbitration.

Either party may instead bring an eligible claim in small claims court. Full Belli asks that you first contact it at hello@fullbelli.com so that the matter may be resolved informally.
